Free Range Pooches

Free Range Pooches is a family-owned and operated business located in North Canterbury, New Zealand. As members of the DNZ, CKC, MDBA, and registered as a company, we have been breeding Miniature Schnauzers since 2007 and French Bulldogs since 2013. Our breeding philosophy is centered around producing high-quality puppies that are healthy and well-socialized.

As home-based breeders, we are dedicated to providing a loving and nurturing environment for our dogs. When you visit us to meet your potential new puppy, you will get to see firsthand how our dogs are raised and how we all live. We became an Dog New Zealand Accredited Breeder of French Bulldogs and Miniature Schnauzers in 2020 and conduct full breed DNA PROFILE tests on our dogs, as well as EYE CERTIFICATES on our Schnauzers. Additionally, we ensure that our dogs receive full vet check-ups every year.

Michelle, who worked as a Vet Nurse for 18 years in a small-animal practice in Christchurch, is part of our team. She has attained a Diploma in Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing in accordance with the Animal Technology & Nursing Board New Zealand, a Certificate in Animal Industry Services - Dogs, as well as certificates in Canine dog obedience and Small Business Management.

FRPNZ are approved NZCAC certified microchip implanters.

FRPNZ are proud to be approved by Air New Zealand to offer you a domestic pet transport service.

We are also able to assist you with your puppies transportation overseas.
