French Bulldogs and Minature Schnauzer Breeders
Michelle & Chloe, a mother-daughter team with separate breeding programs, work together to provide
their dogs with round-the-clock care. With a focus on rigorous health testing, they strive to produce
healthy, happy puppies.
Free Range Pooches is a family-owned and operated business located in North Canterbury, New Zealand.
As members of the DNZ, CKC, MDBA, and registered as a company, we have been breeding
Miniature Schnauzers since 2007 and French Bulldogs since 2013. Our breeding philosophy is centered
around producing high-quality puppies that are healthy and well-socialized.
As home-based breeders, we are dedicated to providing a loving and nurturing environment for our dogs.
When you visit us to meet your potential new puppy, you will get to see firsthand how
dogs are raised and how we all live.
We became an Dog New Zealand Accredited Breeder of French Bulldogs and Miniature Schnauzers in
2020 and conduct full breed DNA PROFILE tests on both breeds.
Patella and Heart Certs on both breeds.
Our Schnauzers get yearly EYE CERTIFICATES done by a Veterinary Ophthalmologist
Our French Bulldogs have their hips and spines x-rayed and sent to a specialist for grading.
We also take special care into BAOS issues and also get grading done around that.
Additionally, we ensure that our dogs receive full vet check-ups every year.
Michelle, who worked as a Vet Nurse for 18 years in a small-animal practice in Christchurch.
She has attained a Diploma in Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing in accordance with the Animal
Technology & Nursing Board New Zealand, a Certificate in Animal Industry Services - Dogs,
as well as certificates in Canine dog obedience and Small Business Management.

FRPNZ are approved NZCAC certified microchip implanters.
FRPNZ are proud to be approved by Air New Zealand to offer you a domestic pet transport service.
FRPNZ are Orivet certified for DNA swabbing.
FRPNZ are also able to assist you with your puppies transportation overseas.
Our property is secured with a security system to ensure the safety and protection of all dogs.
